I went in last night for a planned induction, cervidil followed by pitocin 12 hours later. After the cervidil my cervix was still closed, 70% effaced and "soft" after starting pitocin baby's heart started dropping with contractions and pitocin was shut off. The doctor came in and discussed trying to induce one more time and closely monitoring babies heart or going right for a csection. I decided to try the induction one more time, but doctor still believes this will end up in a csection. I'm a ftm and don't really know what to expect, any similar stories or info I should know about possible csection? suitable items to wear of the masquerade
