What an adventure it has been! Tonight on my news feed one of the first photos I took of when we started Cinderella’s Threads popped up. we set up in my guest bedroom, only had 20-30 dresses and 4 pairs of shoes! In two weeks we will be celebrating our one year anniversary and I am in awe of the blessings of our little shop. Within a month we out grew the guest bedroom and moved into my dining room, we then had apx 100 dresses (There’s a story there) and quickly out grew my dining room lol thanks to the amazing Greifzus who donated a space in their apartment building we were able to move out of my house. We have gone from dressing rooms made from blue tarps to spaciously designed dressing rooms. We now have over 400 gowns thanks to generous donations by an anonymous donor (we love you and appreciate your support)We had to ditch the cheap racks for industrial ones. And our little dress shop has flourished into a beautiful little shop! Best of all we have rented out 214 dresses this past year which means 214 girls got to have a magical night without the worry of buying an expensive gown! You see we don’t do this to make money or to be in competition w other shops, we do this because we love the girls in our local communities and we think they deserve to have a Cinderella ball! Call us fairy godmothers if you wish cheap ball gowns ? there is such joy in seeing a young lady do the Cinderella twirl and her eyes light up when she finds THE dress ? thank you for your love and support, we could not do this without you!!!
